Art in the Park (AIP) is held annually since 1978, the second weekend in July, and is the top fundraiser held by the Elko County Art Club (ECAC). AIP event is well attended by thousands of people in the community and is an annual tradition. Proceeds from this event support the ECAC’s activities, scholarship awards and keep our Art Gallery space open for the year. The entire AIP event is organized and run by the dedicated members of the ECAC - which are ALL volunteers.
This is a two-day family friendly extravaganza of artists, crafters, food and fun for locals and out-of-towners alike - held annually at the green and serene Elko, NV Main City Park. The event is always free for all attendees! There is something for everyone: Artists and Crafters, Shopping, Artist Demonstrations, Food, Entertainment, Kid's Activities, and the Park - bring a blanket for a picnic!
This year’s marketplace will include over 90 new and returning retail and food vendors from Nevada, Idaho, Utah, Washington, Colorado, Arizona and California that will come to sell their custom goods including art, jewelry, specialty foods, children’s items and much more. Bounce houses for your children and as a bonus this year, on Saturday, 7/10, there is “2nd Saturday” at the Northeastern Nevada Museum right next door in the park. You cannot miss this event. There is something for everyone. Please check back periodically for updates to the list of vendors, entertainment, and food.
We look forward to seeing you, your family, and your friends at Art in the Park the second weekend in July each and every year!
